In general the festivities of Archez which are chosen by the community celebrate mostly religious aspects but they can also be civil or any other kind where the people can rejoice, have fun and enjoy. The festivities, by their nature and origin, can be of a very different type.

St Anton's Feast
When: February 3
A fiesta is organized, where a musical group performs. The next day a pilgrimage takes place, the saint is accompanied to the crossing of Corumbela, and the animals are blessed there. Then the city council invites people to a meal

Easter Week
When: March/April
The villages celebrate the traditional religous activities which have been carefully maintained in Archez. On Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday the villagers participate in the processions.

Corpus Day - Andalusian Night
When: Second fortnight of June
In the morning religious processions and, in the evening, the Andalusian Night is organized, where cultural, sports and Andalusian folklore activities are held.

The Sanjuaneo
When: June 24
Families go to the countryside to spend St. John's Day and spend the day with family. Many go to the river to bathe.

Fair in honor of Our Lady of the Incarnation
When: July
This fair in honor of Our Lady of the Incarnation takes place in late July or early August. The fair opens at the fairgrounds on Friday night, where the Queen of the festivities and her bridesmaids are elected. The other days are enlivened by musical groups. The big day is Sunday on which the pilgrimage is held in honor of the Saints. On this day is also performed the traditional ribbon run when girls embroider ribbons for their beloved to catch while riding a horse.

Night of the Fires
When: 7th and 8th September
The people collect wood and light campfires around which families, neighbors and friends eat, sing and dance "the zambomba" and "the wheel".
